It is our passion to serve our community. 

Peter Emery a  dedicated Rotary member of the two Nelspruits clubs for the last 26 years and includes a year as President.

With the assistance of Milton Frary, the CEO of the UK Wheelchair Foundation, we have distributed hundreds of wheelchairs to the needy. Working initially with the Premiers office and the local health department

At one time the Chairman of Betties Haven prior to the new building, where conditions were very bad and children living in an ex-army tent.  Providing food, cooking and general back up which also included painting the house

Assist with the running of the Nelsville football club, which included transporting them to away matches.

Assisted with the orphanage at Rockies Drift (Ex-army barracks) Supplying food, books and checking the eyes of all the children, with help from Keith Kirton

Organised two downhill go kart races

Assist Valencia Combined school with the EV challenge and donated to the choir

With assistance from the Rotary Clubs of Sandton and Middleburg, distributed hundreds of books to various organizations for delivery to the under privileged  children. (ongoing)

Feeding the men in the street, normally on Mandela day or the day after.

Boxes of old clothes, boots , sleeping bags, etc  donated by Wofire, handed out to various 

organizations and people. NCS, churches, men in the street, Child Welfare.

Support Child Welfare with cooking equipment for a crèche

Support financially the Nelsville community centre with awards for the under 12’s at football.

Hand out to the needy Jo-Jo reservoirs

Donated food to the SAPS to be handed out to the families at Lilydale Mine, in Barberton.

Raised funds one year by walking from Nelspruit with a team of five to walk to our annual  convention held in Sun City. (eleven days)

Requested the White River Rotary Club to donate a sophisticated GPS to Captain Pottie Potgieter of the White River diving unit. With this equipment the body of the traffic officer was found within 24 hours after the flooding in Nkomazi

Donated food and drinks to the search team looking for the woman who disappeared near Ngodwana

Escorted exchange students from Europe for a holiday in Natal
